 Walter W. Frueh, MD

Fellowship Trained in Total Joint Reconstruction and Revision
Dr. Frueh is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and a Fellowship Trained specialist in complex hip and knee replacement/reconstruction and revision surgery. After graduating from Colgate University, Dr. Frueh received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA where he received the Orthopaedic Surgery Award. He then continued on to complete a residency with Rothman Institute Orthopaedics at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Frueh then finished his surgical training with a fellowship in complex hip and knee reconstruction and revision with the Rothman Institute at Jefferson Hospital.
Dr. Frueh's practice interests include primary hip and knee replacement (reconstruction), complex hip and knee reconstruction, and hip and knee revision arthroplasty (for failed total knee and hip replacements).
Dr. Frueh enjoys running, surfing, water/snow skiing, and spending time with family and friends.
