Dr. Bahner was awarded a fellowship in reconstructive hand and microsurgery and surgery of the upper extremity by the Division of Orthopedics, University of Chicago. Committed to community service, he has served on mission work to Peru, where he treated children with congenital hand problems and disorders. Prior to co-founding Atlantic Orthopedics in 2001, Dr. Bahner was associated with Coastal Orthopaedics.
In his spare time, Dr. Bahner enjoys boating, tennis and gardening. He and his wife, a physical therapist, live in Wilmington and have four children.
